Assemblée de convergence conjointe avec :

Comment mobiliser les citoyens et les peuples pour l’étabilssement d’un traité d’interdiction des armes nucléaires ?

Nuclear Weapons, along with Climate Change, poses the greatest existential threat to the human species. Nine nations, led by the United States and Russia, possess roughly 15,000 nuclear weapons. During wars and international crises, each has prepared and/or threatened to initiate nuclear war, at least 30 times by the U.S. since the Nagasaki A-bombing. These dangers are compounded by the new nuclear arms race with the U.S. planing to spend $1 trillion to upgrade its nuclear arsenal and delivery systems, and the history of nuclear weapons accidents and miscalculations that have repeatedly brought humanity to the brink of catastrophe.
