The Nobel Peace Prize 2015 was awarded to the Tunisian Quartet

The Nobel Peace Prize 2015 was awarded to National Dialogue Quartet for its contribution to the democratic transition in Tunisia.

The Nobel committee announced: “The Quartet has established an alternative policy of peace process at a time when the country was on the brink of civil war,” the group was created in 2013.

“This Nobel Prize spends the path we have chosen, to find consensual solutions”, welcomed Mr Essebsi on the Facebook page of the Tunisian presidency.

  • L’UGTT : Union Générale Tunisienne du Travail
  • L’UTICA : Union Tunisienne de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat
  • La LTDH : Ligue Tunisienne pour la Défense des Droits de l’Homme
  • L’Ordre national des avocats
