Transforming the United Nations and global governance: Learning to market global reform.

Discussion workshop
Aug 12 2016  13:00 - 15:30

The World Federalist Movement – Canada presents an interactive forum on ways to develop and reform global governance.

Can the United Nations evolve to deliver the accountable governance and decision-making that our world community requires? How best to instigate and carry forward a reform process? Otherwise, how else can we develop the means to provide a more just and democratic decision-making capacity for a world society? If we want a truly global parliament and government, shouldn’t we operate outside the old United Nations / nation-state paradigm?

Resource persons:
Vivian Davidson, President World Federalist Movement – Canada’s Vancouver Branch.
John Trent, Board Chair, World Federalist Movement – Canada and Emeritus Professor of Political Science, University of Ottawa.
