Right to education for refugee children

Our world is facing a major refugee crises. The number of people forcibly displaced worldwide surpassed a record 60 million — the most since the end of World War II. Twenty million of those displaced, half of which are children, are refugees fleeing wars, conflict and persecution There is an increasing number of unattended underage refugees in Europe and the US. What can be done to support refugee children and their families? How can teacher unions make sure that refugee children go to school?
