Fighting for BDS: Facing Down Israel’s Backlash

Discussion workshop
Aug 12 2016  13:00 - 15:30

Palestinian civil society has called for an international campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against the state of Israel. Around the world, BDS has begun to win significant victories in universities, unions, and even entire countries. Faced with this surging movement, Israel has organized an international backlash to rollback these victories and defend its apartheid regime that oversees the ongoing colonization of Palestine. This panel will discuss how to expand the BDS movement’s victories, defeat the Zionist counter-offensive, and build solidarity with the Palestinian liberation struggle.
